SUBTEXT is a moniker I have used as an umbrella entity for many diverse media projects for many years. I added SEMANTICS to the name later because that’s the intellectual editorial part of crafting stories. Currently, I enjoy shooting the visual language and grammar of metaphors that create greater interest and meaning.
I’m also the producer and host on “Us+AI,” a YouTube series of videos teaching AI to the elderly and tech-averse.
In my early career I was a producer for commercials, promos, visual effects and motion graphics. My responsibility was to provide all of the craftspeople the toys and sandboxes to tell the best stories possible. I learned many tricks of the trade and began developing and executing my own media solutions from those experiences.
We’re in such an exciting time to create content. Few rules need be left unbroken and radical experimentation can often render uniquely engaging messages and media experiences.
